Good-bye Fernanda

Since living in Lyon i have lived with host families. It can be very nice or horribly wrong, depending on the family. My first family was terrible, but my second one was different.

If you know me, then you know i hate living in a filthy house, but my second family, even though a bit filthy, was still a great place to live.

i have to thank my departing flatmate for her part in making it enjoyable. Fernanda is from Mexico and she is returning tomorrow. She is always happy, humourous and a joy to be around. She actually gets my sense of humour and laughs at me a lot, so it makes it pleasurable for me. And most importantly, she can cook some awesome Mexican food.

Bon chance Fernanda. i wish you much success in college and in your future. You will be missed.

Travel tips: If you ever travel to Lyon, try Ninkasi beer. Excellent.

And French ice cream is great too, although a bit expensive.

Below are some photos of our last two days.
